THE EFFECT OF CORRECTIVE FEEDBACK VIA A COMPUTERIZED COURSE ON OMANI EFL LEARNERS` WRITING PERFORMANCE

The present research investigates the efficiency of interactional corrective feedback on Omani EFL learners` writing performance through electronic platforms. To this end, 94 English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners were selected based college placement criteria. participants randomly assigned into one experimental group and control group, each including 47 students. Before starting treatment, both groups pretested by test to collect required data. then received treatment using additional comments, whereas only input forms structures final draft. In addition, elicit students’ attitude towards feedback, survey was distributed among group’s participants. Mann-Whitney U for comparing showed significant difference between mean scores two groups. It means that had statistically effect learners’ performance. Besides, findings emphasized importance receiving from their teachers. current study results can have some implications teachers implement more sessions, not tasks but also other skills equally.
